"preserving the past to inspire the future"

Middletown Historical Society is dedicated to safeguarding, researching and documenting the history of Middletown, Rhode Island.

Due to the current global health crisis and to ensure the health & well being of all our visitors, volunteer staff & volunteer board of directors the decision has been made to temporarily close all locations for the Middletown Historical Society until further notice. The Historical Society itself is not closed and we are working on virtual tours / updating our online database. Visitors are welcome to view our newly live virtual locations & exhibits please keep in touch as we launch more to come.
